The Tikkunei HaZohar is part of a group of mystical writings
grouped together under the general topic Zohar. It is an
exposition via Ancient Wisdom that studies the deep connection of
Shekinah throughout the verses of Torah and the underlying
themes of mystical thought. There seventy Tiqun or sections
each dealing with a variation of the word Bereishis and how it
relates to just about everything in the Jewish thought of the
times and also relating to that which is called the Oral Torah.

The Bahir is one of the oldest and most important of all classical Kabbalah texts.  Until the publication of the Zohar, the Bahir was the most influential and widely quoted primary source of Kabbalistic teachings.  Join us as we explore this enigmatic ancient sacred text.  This class requires 2 text books, The Bahir Illumination by Aryeh Kaplan and Sefer ha-Bahir: Selections from The Book of Brilliance, The Classic Text of Early Kabbalah by Geoffrey W. Dennis.
